Process:
1) You will need to print off the KWL chart. Write down what you already know and what you want to learn about bats. Go to Site 1, Site 2, and Site 3, to help you find these facts. You will need to write down 10 or more new facts.
2) Complete the crossword puzzle to see what you have learned about bats. It may be helpful to use your KWL chart from step 1.
3) Individually or with a partner you will research one of the twelve bat species that live in Kansas. You will need to print off the KWL chart and write down what you already know or want to learn about that species. Go to this site to research your Kansas bat.
4) With the information you have learned about your species of bat in Kansas, create a poster and give a presentation on your bat species to your classmates.
